Grey, Snowy, and Smew Too

Feeling like a real twitcher the past couple of days, spending some of my time off chasing down some of the rarities in the area, getting a look at the Whitby Smew (in the rain), and the Kingsville Great Grey Owl (in the sun), also a Snowy Owl for the mix.

Happy Days

A productive trip to Bayfront park in Hamilton on Friday, including a good look at the Black-throated Grey Warbler reported there:

Home again, Home again

Made it back safe and sound (tick).

Beautiful weather for the Airshow in Gatineau, some nice colours in Algonquin, and got a chance to see some birds too!

Back to the Birds (and planes)

Iffy weather this weekend, but got out to Van Wagner’s Beech in Hamilton to try for the Jaeger’s (without luck).  Did find a Mockingbird and a couple of others though -  Hamilton, Sept 9th

And then on Sunday, out to the 2011 Windsor International Airshow! (Although that grey sky shot of the Sabre might be Waterloo)

Hornet and Co.

…next up, Gatineau and Algonquin.

Not a bird, nor a plane

From Webster Falls in Hamilton; off trying something different.

Hey Look! something else to update
